From their barn-turned-distillery in the woods, co-founders, Emily and Rupert lovingly produce a distinctive gin, with a woodland twist on the London Dry recipe. A well-composed blend of juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, elderflower and elderberries makes for a subtle, yet memorable gin that`s making quite a splash.

When co-founders Emily and Rupert decided to make Roundwood Gin into a commercial venture, they needed an agency that understood country lifestyle and had solid experience in digital marketing.

The client wanted to market and drive brand awareness of their bespoke gin. Their brand was based on unique ingredients and strong sense of place and they needed content and assets to reflect this.

01 / SOCIAL MEDIA

With in-depth research and discussions with Emily and Rupert on their business goals and what they would like to achieve through social media, we compiled a six-month social media strategy to build exposure on both Instagram and Facebook.

As the social media platforms changed, we adapted this strategy ensuring weekly reels, daily story posts and consistent posting, which doubled reach.

The strategy focused on the brand identity, Roundwoods story and the tone of which we would set out to grow an engaging community.

By creating unique story templates, cohesive feed posts and trending reels, we were able to make Roundwood Gin’s social channels an extension of their website, target existing customers and generate new ones.

02 / PAID SOCIAL ADS & GOOGLE ADS

Alongside an organic social media strategy, we conducted both paid social and Google ads to maximise reach and build brand awareness quickly and effectively.

Creating an awareness social ad allowed us to retarget previous customers and turn them into followers and repeat buyers. Generating ads to display on stories, main feeds, Reels on both Facebook and Instagram, we monitored them closely to ensure ad spend was maximised at all times.

Keeping paid social focused on brand awareness and recapturing customers, we ensured Google ads targeted new leads to encouraging additional conversions. This multi-funnel approach meant we were nurturing existing customers whilst increasing brand awareness to increase traffic to the website.

03 / INFLUENCER CAMPAIGN

To boost brand awareness, we planned and executed a distillery tour, inviting top influencers in the surrounding area.

Focusing on influencers in the food & beverage industry, we scouted, approached and liaised with each one to ensure a successful event. With an accumulated follower base of 35K+, we were able to generate new UGC content, encourage others to attend a distillery tour and increase Roundwood’s Instagram growth by tapping into the influencer’s audience.

04 / CONTENT CREATION

To ensure a cohesive look across all channels including but not limited to the Roundwood website, social channels and paid ads, we captured high-quality brand photography and videography.

The client needed a selection of images that connected their audience with the brand.

Roundwood Gin tool part in our Content Creation Day, where our creative team created a portfolio of imagery including product, group photo and lifestyle shots that were on brand and perfect for use on social media.
