Providing serviced office and event spaces for hire in rural Nottinghamshire, The Old Mill now forms part of the Chris Allsop portfolio of companies, a family-owned and run business founded in Nottingham in 1986. 

The Old Mill needed a brand identity as well as a new website where they could advertise their meeting rooms for hire. The Old Mill team came to us, as we had a strong understanding of the area and could provide insight on how to maximise brand awareness and launch their rebrand.

01 / BRAND STRATEGY

To effectively launch the brand we recommended a refresh of brand identity, to reflect The Old Mills values and align more with the target audience.

We carried out a full brand strategy review, which enabled us and the client to identify their core values and tone of voice. The research also defined their market position, and their competition and gave clarity on the target audience, their preferences and how to reach them.

In-line with this new brand identity, we gave a new creative feel to the brand, which included a sophisticated, contemporary colour palette to reflect their values and push the feeling of professionalism, and luxury.

These guidelines have helped the client clarify the experience and personality behind the brand and ensure consistency and a cohesive approach across all their communications.

02 / SQUARESPACE WEB DESIGN

The Old Mill needed a website where users could gain information on available meeting rooms to book, have their questions answered and a way for users to contact them easily.

Using the new branding, we created a brand new Squarespace website, optimising SEO to assist with brand awareness and included a seamless user experience, where their audience could explore what the Old Mill has to offer and book rooms.

With this website not being an eCommerce site, we focused on informative copy and immersive creative. As well as new branding and brand photography, we created a 3D walk-around of the Old Mill, to provide users the opportunity to look around the building.

The Old Mill now has a strong brand identity that reflects on their website, in order to inform, educate and build leads.
